Kaneeshia Walker

Executive Director- Founder

Ms. Kaneeshia Walker, Founder of MiPurpose Incorporated, graduated from Paine College, an HBCU, in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (Counseling). She has had the privilege of inspiring, supporting, educating, and advocating for youth and young adults through her professional experience as an educator, juvenile correction officer, facility and community mental health case manager and evaluator, child protective investigator with Georgia DFCS, and forensic interviewer with Lake/Sumter Children Advocacy Center. Additionally, she has volunteered with A21, alongside her family, to advocate for and promote awareness of child and human trafficking, youth mental health, and youth homelessness.


Ms. Walker’s goal is to continue fostering a stronger generation of youth and young adults by coaching, empowering, advocating, and supporting them. She aims to create an environment where they can express themselves healthily, set and accomplish goals, and discover their self-purpose.


With God as her first business partner, Ms. Walker is also dedicated to building alliances within the community, recognizing that the vision extends beyond just one organization. She is committed to ensuring that community resources are promoted and utilized to strengthen and build our community.

Marquette Kemp- Board Member

A 2002 graduate of Morris Brown College with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Sole owner of Focus Books LLC, Focus International Transport LLC, TradeSource Liquidation LLC and MSM TAX SVC LLC. I have worked solely as an entrepreneur for the past 17 years within these businesses where we have proven profits annually.

Kim Walker-Lawrence- Board Member

 Mrs. Kim Walker-Lawrence has a wealth of passion and thirty years of experience in the educational arena. She has served as a teacher, administrator, and mentor.


Mrs. Walker Lawrence is from Central Florida, and her journey in education has been both inspiring and impactful. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Her educational background, coupled with her diverse experiences, has prepared her to serve the community. Her volunteer experiences consist of working with youth, feeding the homeless, and mentoring young adults.


Throughout her career, Ms. Walker-Lawrence has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to time management, and finding resources to help other reach their goals. Her educational philosophy centers on the belief that everyone can thrive in a positive environment, supported by strong leadership, dedicated mentors, and an engaged community. She is deeply committed to ensuring that everyone receives the support and resources they need to succeed in life.
